(CNN) –

As you spend more time at home than ever before, we hope you have transformed your home into a dream space. We worked hard to organize our clutter, open our WFH office, and create a space that makes us smile every morning (since almost everything else is so chaotic). A beautiful candle is the icing on the cake that can transform your home into a comfortable oasis, sometimes even transporting you to a destination you would like to visit immediately.

We understand that it can be harder than ever to walk into your favorite store and smell the candles in person. So we hit the internet (and searched our personal collections) to find our favorite scented candles to stock up on this winter. Remember: You can never have too many.

Homesick’s Ski Trip Candle will remind you of your days on the slopes. The scent is said to be reminiscent of a cozy ski chalet with notes of frosty air, cocoa and cinnamon – it’s warm and festive.

We can’t wait to snuggle up in our home surrounded by the scent of this candle. When you light it, you are transported to the mountains with aromas of amber, musk, sage and lavender. Hand watered in California, P.F. Candle Co. says it burns for 60 to 70 hours and is ideal for large rooms or rooms with high ceilings.

Diptik Feu de Bois/Woodfire Candle

Nordstrom

Diptych Wood Fire is one of the best winter candles. As the name suggests (which translates to wood fire), it is a smoke aroma reminiscent of a real fireplace burning in your home. Prepare to cower with a good book next to it.

Birthday candle

Date of birth candles

Honestly, we recommend the birthday candle at any time of the year. Made from a blend of soy wax and coconut, this candle is customized to your personality based on your birthday – in fact, the ultimate astrology candle. Don’t forget that the scent of each candle is adapted to your mood by a master perfumer. It may not give off winter vibes, but it fits you perfectly.

Project 62 Ceramic old ashtray and black wick candle 3

Destination

The destination is, among others, a land of amazing candles. We love this beautiful matte black Project 62 candle that looks good in any setting and only costs $13. This aromatic candle combines three wicks for smoother burning and releases woody aromas of nutmeg, musk and amber.

Le Labo Santal 26 Classic Candle

Nordstrom

The price of this candle is a little high, but it can really be worth it. Critics appreciate that the scent permeates the entire house and that it is strong without being overly fragrant. Encased in a thick glass, this soy wax candle contains notes of cocoa, vanilla, spice and sandalwood that are perfect for a winter’s day.

Cinnamon bread candle with the scent of peace

Etsy

There aren’t many things better than fresh baked goods on a cold day, are there? Handmade in Florida, this candle smells like cinnamon rolls straight from the oven, with notes of cinnamon, butter and vanilla. Even better: If you buy this candle, you are supporting a small black company.

Other country lights a vegan candle

Sephora

We really can’t live without Another Country’s candles. For serious winter vibes, we’d definitely opt for this Kindling campfire candle. Like the brand’s other candles, this one is pure – meaning it’s free of cruelty and toxins like parabens and sulfates. Hot and spicy, it’s definitely worth a place in your home.

Voluspa Maison Noir Crisp Champagne Maison Metallo Candle with 2 wicks

PHOTO:
Nordstrom

You can always count on Voluspa: very attractive packaging that also serves as decoration when you are not lighting the candle. The Crisp Champagne Coconut Wax Candle smells as festive as it looks. With notes of brut champagne, vanilla and barrel-aged oak, you’ll be happy to celebrate any milestone.

Domesticated animal of an evergreen hairy forest candle

Amazon

While we love spending more time with our pets during quarantine, we don’t like the smells they leave behind. Refresh your home with this odor-neutralizing candle that eliminates animal odors as it burns. This season we would choose an evergreen forest scent that smells like pine, crushed leaves and sweet balsam.

Jo Malone London Black Pomegranate Scented Candle for Home

Nordstrom

If you prefer a lighter, fruitier flavor, try Joe Malone Black Pomegranate. With notes of pomegranate, Casablanca lily and guaiac wood, you get a slightly sweet and slightly smoky scent.

Cozy nights with a glass of opal and a candle wick.

Destination

The adorable packaging and phenomenal offering of this candle caught our attention, but it’s the scent that makes the joy of the show. It smells of bergamot, tobacco and caramel, a perfume with which you can spend a pleasant night.

Bohema Goa mood candle

PHOTO:
Nordstrom

The minimalist design of this glass vase is striking. Boheme candles burn clean and are designed to make you want to travel and adventure around the world. Take a trip to the Arabian Sea with notes of sparkling citrus, funky champagne, patchouli and white musk in your room, inspired by the Indian state of Goa.

Scented candle Byredo Bohemia

PHOTO:
Bloomingdales

Byredo is a big name in the world of perfumes, and he doesn’t disappoint with a Czech candle designed to evoke a sense of wanderlust. Bring the musky notes of rum, geranium and vanilla into your home with this candle that one critic calls delicious. After all, there’s no better time than now to dream of your next escape.

The Tom Ford candle.

PHOTO:
Nordstrom

We’ve spotted this candle in the homes of some of our favorite influencers, and maybe because it makes you feel good. This is the perfect excuse to do something crazy this winter (or a fun Valentine’s Day gift). Tom Ford’s Fabulous Candle contains notes of clary sage, bitter almond and light woods that will give your home an opulent feel like you’ve never felt before.

Pharmacy white vetiver candle

Apotheca calls it a sensual flavor, so we’re definitely going to spice it up this winter. This candle in its distinctive glass vase smells of cashmere, eucalyptus and lilac with the warmth of vetiver and cedar.

Lex Pott Twist Duet Tapering standing candle

Urban equipment

The Lex Pott Twist Candle may be one of our favorites of this season, but lighting it is a true feat. This artwork has two wicks that can burn at the same time, and as they burn, the candlesticks get shorter and shorter. You don’t need a vase. But here’s the problem: This candle is unscented, so even if it doesn’t fill your room with pleasant scents, it’s definitely an Insta-worthy item.

The boy smells like a twig candle

Nordstrom

Boy Smells’ mission is to help you celebrate your unique identity and cultivate true self-worth. Packaged in a shiny black tumbler with a pink label, the Prunus candle contains notes of yuzu, Asian plum and earthy oakmoss that will add a lush, fruity touch to any room you place it in.

Jonathan Adler Muse black ceramic candle

In an elegant porcelain vase, this candle is almost impossible to miss. Even better: We think it’s ideal for winter, as it has notes of bergamot, black plum, amber and vetiver that are just a bit masculine. We are also fans of the midnight black wax, which gives off a beautiful glow when lit.

Mistletoe Candles

Are you sad that the holiday season is over? So are we. We keep the anecdotal candle as a reminder of our fun days. This hand-poured candle is made to burn clean and has notes of apple, blackberry and black currant that will bring a fruity goodness to your life.

A candle in a golden glass jar is literally irresistible. Additionally, this candle from Illume has a matte, lingering cypress scent with notes of white pepper, cardamom and a hint of spicy citrus.

What does your perfect day look like? Our job is to get the cold candle. We love the dream packaging and the Daydream candle smells like coconut, hibiscus, musk and vanilla. In addition, Wonderland candles are vegan and contain no chemicals, dyes or paraffin wax.

Homemade Winter Fireplace Candle

Homesick

One can always count on Heimwee to have candles for every mood, and its winter hearth candle may be the best winter scent. The candle decorates the fireplace with notes of eucalyptus, fir and holly. Even if the holidays are over, it can still be the best time of the year.

The classic fireplace candle is similar to your own portable fireplace. It smells like old wood with a hint of smoke that makes you dream of a snowy day.

Chloe Glass Spice Candle Tea 3-Vic.

We hope that flat and round candles will never go out of fashion. We took a look at this three-loop candle, housed in a glass jar with a geological effect, with a lid that even has a pretty tassel. For winter, we choose a spicy tea flavor with notes of tobacco leaf, cinnamon, butterscotch and dark maple syrup.
