Des Bryants makes you forget the past.
Time has healed a deep wound for the Baltimore Raven veteran, two calendar years after his occasional departure from the Dallas Cowboys.
Most of the water has gone under the bridge, Bryant told reporters Saturday on ESPN. You need to move on with your life.
Time is also a circle for Bryant, who admitted in 2019 that his unjust break with Jerry Jones – after eight seasons, more than 7,400 receiving yards and 73 touchdowns – influenced him so much that it contributed to the triple professional’s decision to reject the Ravens’ offer, for which he now plays.
I couldn’t even try to play soccer. I didn’t like the way my relationship with the Dallas Cowboys ended, Bryant said on the ThomaHawk Show podcast. I felt there was a lot going on in this organization, which is not fair. I think there were a lot of political things going on. I’m the kind of person who says what she thinks, but I investigate everything before I say what I think. I just thought it was too much. Some of them may have made a mistake, but if they had done their research, they would have seen that it really made sense. It was just one of those things – my opinion against her – and it was: Does he have to be here or not? I voted against my participation.

How did he get here?
After his release from football in 2018 and a long recovery from his Achilles tendon fracture, Bryant received a Medal of Honour on 27 March. October at the Ravens’ coaching staff. He was killed on the 7th. He was first promoted to active duty on 28 November and has since had four 28-yard catches for 37 for the attack led by Lamar Jackson.
His return to the NFL culminated in a lengthy and very public rehabilitation process that included everything from expertly selected training videos to, when his health improved, behind-the-scenes conversations with Vice President Cowboy Stephen Jones and proposals for a second term in Dallas.
Cowboys flirted with the idea, Dez. To the ninth grade. Jerry Jones confessed in February that I thought a lot about it in the shower. But these thoughts never faded and were completely repressed in April when he wrote the joint project no. 17 of WR CeeDee Lamb.

Week of 13 Face-to-face interviews
Bryant will have the long-awaited chance to get his revenge on Tuesday night when the cowboys have to fight the Ravens in Baltimore (assuming there are no more 19 flashes of COVID).
It was a solid game for Bryant against the Dallas defense, allowing a total of 382.0 yards or 32.6 points per game. Add to that the traumatic second week and the return of Jackson, who missed the twelfth week, and there’s a reason why he’s looking forward to doing show business on a national scale.
I’m excited. Bryant told reporters Saturday. I’m good friends with a lot of guys over there. Every time we fight, it’s fun. It’s going to be an exciting time.
